I see that I`m no longer a Stormtrack Supporter, What's up with that? Do we have to donate like every 6 months or so? It`s no big deal I`m just wondering what happen as now I`m just a member

You must be one of those recreational chasers...thereby losing any privileges as a Supporter. No amount of money can change that unless you chase only for the science. Or the Discovery Channel.

I had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago.

I sent a PM to Chris Nuttall and asked if something was going on with the Stormtrack Supporter tag. He did some checking and forwarded the message to Tim. Apparently something is happening with the software and after a couple of days, mine was corrected. You may want to send a PM also.

I guess my status tag is okay. But then, for a while I was a Stormtrack supporter twice over, so maybe I've just degraded down to the halfway point.

The double Stormtrack supporter tag was a problem that Tim said he was going to fix. Looks like he fixed it.

How weird. My Stormtrack Supporter tag is gone too, but it hasn't been a year yet. Oh well, no big deal. What's important is that this wonderful site received some financial compensation. (expenses clearly outweigh income received) I was just hoping that the tag would stay up for 12 months so I could be "reminded" of when it was time to donate again.

According to Tim V., it's a software issue. For some reason, some users that were placed in the "Stormtrack Supporter" usergroup had it overwritten by another usergroup. He's not exactly sure what is causing the problem or why but said that he would investigate.

I wouldn't think so I joined the B & G and my supporter tag still shows

Sorry about the delay -- the lack of props is not something I have any intention of removing. This is a problem with the "user title" variable; I've been in the process of reorganizing some usergroups and vBulletin is having some issues with how user titles are carried over, which I've not been able to figure out yet. This will get fixed soon.
