Has anybody had any experience with this app? I see past references to StormNet in older ST threads, but I think this is different. Trey Greenwood referred to its tornado forecast in his latest Convective Chronicles video. Seems like a good confirmatory source after you do your own chase forecast, kind of like Nadocast. Also for nowcasting in the field - claims to “show a clear signal for tornadoes 3 hours in advance…” (see below excerpt from their informational page). May also be good for general day-to-day use when in non-chase mode, include for non-chasers.
“StormNet shows a clear signal for tornadoes 3 hours in advance:
stormnet.ai
“StormNet shows a clear signal for tornadoes 3 hours in advance:
- The 3-hour forecast had a tornado risk of 35% in cases when there WAS a tornado.
- The 3-hour forecast had a tornado risk of 0.0002% in cases when there was NO tornado.”
