• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Hey Stormtrack community,

I am moving from tornado alley and I have to sell my storm chasing 4Runner as I sadly can't take it with me. I will provide as much info as possible but if you have any questions please ask.

2003 Toyota 4Runner Sport
192,000 miles
4WD
Asking $8,000 (obo)

I have a full record of maintenance going back to the 1st owner. However, I would like to outline all the work that I've done to it to make it storm chase ready.

In the last couple years I've added:
New front differential
New rear differential
New front axle
New CV boots
New front and rear suspension
New upper and lower control arms
New front actuator
Fully Deployable hail Shield over all windows (deploys in less than 10 seconds)
Tires with only 10k miles
New primary battery (vehicle has 2 batteries)

Some of the vehicle special features include:
Shrockworks front bumper that acts as a deer disperser
Custom built rear bumper that matches the front bumper with a high-lift Jack and spare tire
2 car batteries and a toggle switch in the cab to easily switch back and forth between the batteries
Multiple powerful lights including a roofrack light bar and twin KC bumper lights
A dope Tornado Alley Stormtroopers logo sticker
Removable custom built tool box/storage box in the rear luggage area (I have it removed but it is featured in the pictures)

all around it's a beast and a really fun chase vehicle. I used it for my chase business (tornadoalleychasing.com) and for personal chases. It has basic wear and tear and stains on the carpet but nothing outlandish. It's little undercarriage rust and only superficial scratches and cuts. The hail damage isn't even that bad. The biggest I saw while chasing in this vehicle is only a couple inches. It is chase ready immediately!

feel free to post or DM me.
