• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Sprint upgraded my phone today to a new Samsung Instinct so I am going to go ahead and sell my previous phone. Here is a stock photo of one.

It's a Samsung A640. You can get all the specs on it at Samsung's website here:

I have had it about a year or so now. It's a darn good phone. Works on both digital frequencies and analog as well. Roams well on all 3 of them. Battery still lasts as long as it did when it was new, which generally is a long time. I usually only have to charge it every few days unless I have had a very busy day on the phone. The standby time on it is ridiculously long. Has camera phone, internet, bluetooth, voice dialing, all sorts of other little toys. It WILL do internet tethering, although I never bought the cable to do it, since I have a data card.

Has some minor scratches as you might expect from a used phone, but it's still in great shape. You really only can see them if you get the light to reflect on it just right.

I have the original box and manual in perfect shape. The original A/C charger and I will also include an aftermarket car charger and a case as well. The case is a belt clip universal type, I usually keep it on the visor and stick my phone in it while driving.

Will be fully charged when you receive it, ready to activate on your account. ESN is guaranteed clear. As I said, I just got a new phone to replace it.

Asking $60 and that includes shipping.

If you need pics of the actual phone, get in touch with me.
Great chance to upgrade your Sprint phone to a better one!
