Well it had to EVENTUALLY happen! We have been below normal in the temp department since the beginning of this month. It has been a STRUGGLE to get above average. We are getting there though. Western KY will explode with color during the next few weeks! I for one am HAPPY!

WELCOME SPRING 2005

This is just the beginning for this area. The next four weeks will explode with colors! The trees are JUST now starting to bud out...the Easter Flowers have already started to bloom!

This tree is outside of my house here in Lone Oak

Great pics. My allergies have been the worst they have ever been for the last 3 weeks and no let up anytime soon. Oak tree has my dark blue car a constant yellow and my eyes run like rivers. Ugh.

When I lived in Atlanta we used to have the cars covered (like snow) by pollen! Some days everything looked yellow. It was pretty amazing...and weird. heh

Yowsa - how I envy you! Still snowing up in Ontario as of this typing... and it seems the GFS won't make up its mind either... one day it shows a potential warming, another day it shows a polar vortex over the Great Lakes once again.

Meanwhile the highest temperature forecasted in WFO-GRB's 7-day forecast is 39 degrees, what with our fresh snow cover.

For all those who chase tomorrow's potential storms in the ARKLATX/lower MS valley area, good luck! :) And for all those who have their homes and families there...be alert to the weather and stay safe!

This looks like it will be the official kickoff of the 2005 chase season.

Beautiful pics! We've had a few warm days here in the 60's and 70's, but they were immediately followed by much colder air. Everything here is still very dormant. A few of my tulips are peaking through though.
