I am proud to present the first ever Ohio University Meteorology Symposium! It will take place on March 6th from 1-5pm at Walter Hall on the beautiful campus of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. This event was just going to be a small event with three presentations and in the last few weeks has exploded to 7 different presenters and 8 presentations! There are a wide variety of topics aimed to include the wide spectrum of meteorology in both the governmental and public sectors.
I would like to take this thread to invite all of you! It's completely out of reach for many of you but if you know people in the region that would be interested please pass the word on! We hope to have a large and diverse crowd. It is completely free to all attendees and there will be a free snack in the mid-afternoon break. The only thing I ask is to please RSVP so that we may have a head count beforehand to assure everyone gets a snack and we have enough seating (shouldn't be a problem but you never know). I hope that some of you in the region can make it and perhaps I can put a face to all these names! Click the banner at the bottom of this thread to take you to the events page and see the list of honorable presenters that will be with us along with their topics.

To RSVP send me a email at [email protected]. If you have any questions/comments/requests feel free to email me also! Hope to see some of you there!
