ehh...I guess this goes here.

I am looking for some links for different models of simulated reflectivity, WRF, NAM, whatever. I would also be interested in the high rez. versions of these too. Thanks!
 
As garbage as simulated reflectivity models are supposed to be, I've actually seen them get initiation and convective mode nearly correct. I attribute this most likely to luck. Its still pretty fun to compare during an event.

I will plead guilty to going by this model for 5/22/07 though. However, the model "nailed it!"

This data is to be taken with a grain of salt... Please be advised that any model is only as good as the raw data ingested into it - which is very coarse to this day - both temporally and spatially. In layman's terms, sometimes the model output seems reasonable, but other times it is complete garbage.

That one sure nailed February 10th. I wish I had saved a shot of that. It was as close to perfect as a model gets.

It will be interesting to see if today verifies:
