I use the Aviation Weather Center page, it updates about twice as frequently as many other satellite pages I've found. Though the COD link posted above refreshes at the same interval, I believe.

I actually prefer GrLevelx with the Allisonhouse satellite feeds added as underlay. Yeah, you can't loop the satellite, but it's extremely helpful seeing the satellite underlayed with the GIS map, radar, and other placefile data plotted on top of it. It's also nice to be able to zoom and pan. When you see those first cells starting to pop, along with what the visible satellite looks like around them, you have a much better picture of what's going on, rather just a few green blips on a black background like you'd normally see without the satellite data.

I seem to just use GREarth and http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/wisc/wisgif32.jpg for single picture of Middle-Upper MS Valley/Western-Central Great Lakes/Lower OH Valley or http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/wisc/index.php?n=12 for a loop of the same area. The loop can be anywhere from 4 to 32 images by increments of 4. You have multiple controls over the animation, the best being the ability to zoom.

Anyone knows a link or software with high resolution (4km, 1km) images of South America, specially Brazil?
I've tried NRLMRY's Nexsat http://www.nrlmry.navy.mil/NEXSAT.html
GHCC http://www.ghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/GOES/
RAMMB's RMTC http://rammb.cira.colostate.edu/ramsdis/online/rmtc.asp

But they have low resolution, low refresh rates and do not allow you to select a more specific area.

and MCIDAS - V, but in McIDAS all data I could find was in 16km resolution.
