ST. LOUIS — A longtime Saint Louis University professor has passed away.
James T. Moore, Ph.D., professor of meteorology, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006. Dr. Moore was 54 years old.

Research Interests: forecasting convective systems associated with heavy rainfall and straight-line winds, jet streak dynamics, winter storms, isentropic analysis techniques, and mesoscale banding of precipitation

Dr. Moore was nice and sent me some literature on Isentropic stuff. Also, answer a few questions about
the SLU Meteorology program. He will be missed by all.
