Rough Hurricane Chasing

The following video clip was shot by Jim Edds in Key West during Hurricane Rita. The video is of Jeff Piotrowski being over taken by a large wave. Jeff was ok but it does show how being close to the water is not always safe. Chris Collura and myself had a similar close call as well with the surge on the northeast side of the island.

Jim gave me the green light to post this clip. Play it safe out there when chasing Hurricane Rita.
