I've had a few passing questions about the "report post" feature on the vBulletin forum software, so I figured I would make a quick blurb about it.

If you read a post and suspect that it needs the attention of the site staff, there is a report post button down on the bottom left-hand corner of every post a user makes. Simply click this button (black triangle w/a white exclamation mark - see example below) and enter your report (e.g., "This appears to be a personal attack on another user."), then press "send report" when you're finished entering your text. It's quite a simple feature to use.

Posts should be reported if you think said post may have either violated the FAQs/Rules for the general forum or the special rules for the Target Area sub-forum.

Reporting a post to the site staff does NOT guarantee that it will be removed or that corrective action will automatically be taken; it is solely the responsibility of the moderator team to make that decision. You will not receive a personal reply regarding your report from a member of the moderator team due to the volume of reports often received on any given day, but rest assured that each post is reviewed after a report is made. If you have any questions, just ask.

What about double posts...it happens, and usually is taken care of in a day or so, but do you guys want us to 'report' it? Maybe a different way for that should be used? Maybe just leave it...since it pretty much is always handled by Mods w/out heads up.

Go ahead and report it; it certainly can't hurt. Sometimes stuff like this will get taken care of even more quickly because the "report post" feature draws a MODs attention to the issue as soon as we log-in, as these reports are automatically sent to a special administrative sub-forum that is not at all hard to miss right when you log-in using an administrative account.
