LOL yeah... the last pic makes this one easy... For those who don't know, here are some clues: November... Ohio... Tornado struck movie theater... Big outbreak... Van Wert... F4...

Wow am I the only one here who's never seen these pictures? :lol:

I was surprised this was a violent tornado, the cars don't look in that bad of shape for being rolled/tossed. I was a little confused as to what those seats were for too not knowing what it looked like before.

I would have guessed a low-to-mid F-3. As mentioned by someone else, those cars don't look all that bad. Those trees, while broken.....are not debarked. Don't forget, just because an event was designated such-and-such a Fujita rating, that the entire tornado track maintained that strength throughout it's entire course. Damage ratings can vary wildly within a short span, and what is pictured here may or may not be the damage that led to the F-4 designation.
I'm sure not even close to being an expert in this, so it's just "one man's opinion". You know, the guy who could really enlighten us all about damage and Fujita ratings is Tim Marshall.......as he is a professional at this, and flies all over the country inspecting wind damage for $$$.
