Radarscope for Mac

Just bought it and installed it. Very much like the app on iPhone or iPad. However, I don't think the app allows you to use the Allison house feed or if it does, it is not apparent how to do it. If you go into preferences you have the allisonhouse option, but you can't select it. Other than that not bad. Main draw backs I see are no level II support (once you have it you can never go back) and no place file support which I think is a must for real chasing applications.

If the problems I mentioned above are addressed I can see this as a real alternative to grLevel 2 and 3 and I own both of them.

Level II data please!

Update, just figured out the Allisonhouse feed. You have to login to the website and enable it for iPhone/iPad and then it enables the option in the Mac App. Not elegant or intuitive, but it does work.

Very nice. Not particularly feature-rich yet, but as Tyler suggests, hopefully it will get there. I would love to be able to dump my PC, but GR3 is just too nice. Maybe this will eventually catch up.

Then all I'd need is iMap Tracker software compatible with Macs. :) [/hint]

awesome! I just got a new iMAC 27" desktop yesterday so I'll have to check it out.

also FYI, you can load Windows 7 via boot camp onto your MAC desktop or laptop, and then you can run all pc apps. I will be doing this sometime this weekend as I still have many pc apps that I need to use, so I like MAC for that reason because I can do both MAC and PC work on one system.

Yeah I have Fusion on my 2008-model iMac (Core2 Duo), but it crawls and smoothing won't work. Works fine booted up in Boot Camp of course, but that doesn't solve the problem. Perhaps newer versions of Fusion/Parallels improve graphics somehow, and I'm sure newer hardware runs it faster.

Ill stick with WeatherScope for now....WeatherScope can be configured in so many ways, but it does have its quirks too....But its FREE....

For 3x the price of the iPhone/iPad app (which, I only had to pay for once and it works on both devices) what do you get in the Mac version?

It looks awesome, and I'm going to buy it, I just hope that something in the near future will justify the price difference.

For those not willing pull the trigger on $29.99....I presume you haven't purchased GRLevel3 for $80. If it has 1/3 of the features of GRLevel3 then the price is about right.
