Predictions of the future of chasing

I dont see chasing waning in popularity, as long as humans keep making babies, some of those babies will grow up to have an interest in weather. Even now I hear it all the time from people with little kids, how interested they are in tornadoes and weather. There are more people getting into chasing than there are people who are retiring from chasing. Especially as it becomes easier. Original ideas will make way to lots of copycats, and the big chasing "empires" will flatten out and downsize as competition increases and the product becomes more standard and readily available.

Norman, OK will become so overpopulated with refugees from the midwest that Cleveland County will become the first Democratic county in Oklahoma, causing civil war within the state that ultimitely leads to it being kicked out of the United States Union. Soon passports will be required like Canada and most of us wont be able to get in because we stole a candy bar from our local 711s when we were 10 years old.

Ok, maybe I exaggerated those last couple sentences a bit.

Well actually the cost isn't a factor at all. It's the need to continue volume scans. In any case, between AVSET which rolled out nationally last year, and SAILS which is rolling out this year, low level updates will come every 110 - 144 seconds instead of every 300-360 seconds as they used to be. Make sure you have the very latest versions of GR3 (just released last week) and GR2AE (a few months ago) as they support AVSET and SAILS.

Well that's great news! Just updated! Thanks!

Anyone know if RadarScope for iOS supports AVSET and SAILS? If not, what happens when accessing a radar station that is in those modes - do you still get the "old"/"normal" radar feed?
