Powerpoint to DVD conversion

Hello- Anyone ever take a powerpoint and covert it to a DVD playable format? It looks as if there are more than a few programs to do this and I don't want to download them all to find the best.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Hi Laura,

You're right, there's quite a few programs out there now for this. I've done this a few times, although there never used to be anything good for this and I had to export each slide as an image and then assemble them in a video authoring program, add transitions, sounds etc. Very labor intensive.

I have tried the Wondershare program trial and found it seemed to work quite well, but can't offer much beyond that. Probably worth checking out though; I think they give you a 2 week trial on it and it's about $100 to purchase.
