I have been searching for this manuscript for very long time and I still have not found a single copy: It is called Doswell, C.A. III, 1985: The operational meteorology of convective weather. Volume II: Storm-scale analysis . I heard it is a great reading so I would like to acquire it somewhere. Can you help me please?
Or could you possibly suggest other good resources which serve as a fine introduction to storm structure etc...?

I have a couple copies of it. It is a little outdated, but both volume I and II are a couple of my favorite books. You can get them for free if they still have any left. Just send Doswell an email and ask him for the phone number of the lady that has the left over books at OU. If you call her she will mail you a copy free of charge. I didn't have any luck printing a copy off the internet because the graphs, charts, and other side page sections didn't come out legibly. If you don't have any luck tracking one down, I might be able to give you a copy. I have to check on how many I have. I used to have several copies of both Vol. I and II, but I have given some away and now I think I only have two copies of one of them.

Doswell has another book that is very good. It only has a couple chapters on storm scale analysis, but I think you would like it a lot. I have to check the title when I get home and I'll post it then.
One other book that comes to me is Mesoscale Meteorology and Forecasting. Once again, there is only a chapter or two that focus on storm scale meteorology, but they are pretty good. I flip through that too when I get home.

If there's the interest maybe I'll coordinate with Chuck Doswell and do a PDF of it to add to the Volume I.

Michael Gribble: If you're referring to the Vol I being illegible, there is a high-quality version that exists, but I hadn't put it online as bandwidth was relatively expensive back in 2000. It only got distributed with some of my old Forecaster Pack CD sets. Maybe I can try to dig it out and post it soon.

Tim, I would appreciate this very much, if you provided a pdf format of the manuscript.
I mailed to the lady recently and she told me she has no copies left, unfortunately.
Anyway, how can I get that book "Severe Weather Storms"? Is it obtainable through Amazon? Or any other online bookstore?

The other book I was thinking of that had some good chapters on storm scale analysis is Doswell's - Severe Convective Storms. This is probably the same book Mark is talking about. It has a chapter on numerical modeling of severe storms and another one on tornadoes and tornadic storms. Both of which go into storm scale meteorology. This is definitely one of my favorite books along with Volumes I and II of Operational Meteorology of Convective Weather. I make sure to reread them before every chase season.
I forgot to look at which one (vol. I or II) I have an extra copy of while I was at my house (I'm already at my girlfriend's house), but I will check tomorrow. If Tim doesn't have any luck getting it in PDF, somebody can have my extra copy. You would honestly be better off with the PDF version as long as it's legible because the original copies of the books are so old that they tend to fall apart at the binding when you're reading them.

Tomas,
Accidentally I got two of these books few months ago, if you're interested in it I have one available to sell. Contact me via PM for more informations.

Tim,
I am sure many of us will be happy to see both Vol1 and Vol2 in PDF format if you could do that!
