Non-U.S. GrlevelX Files Available

I know my Ontario based files have found their way to many corners of the internet but I have finally made files for the rest of Canada including a cities place file.

I am just dropping this message here for anyone on the border who has been looking for these kinds of files.

Just go to http://www.vaughanweather.com/tools/software/grlevelx/gis/ and everything should be there.

Alright, after some Global Mapper, a bit of Excel, some jEdit and a couple find/replace commands the Canadian Cities place file is ready!


Open this URL in any current version of GrlevelX-> http://www.vaughanweather.com/tools/software/grlevelx/gis/places/All Canadian Pop Points.txt


I have also fixed the provincial files so everything is working perfectly and ready to be downloaded.

If you are unsure about anything there is a text file called Read Me posted in a number of the directories and just about every zip file. It will tell you how to install and troubleshoot anything. If you really hit a wall feel free to contact me.

Thanks Tom, especially for the "regional" boundary work!

I'm currently putting together some files for Manitoba specific use too.. was going to slap them on a web page sometime this year. Hopefully I'm not duplicating anybody elses work though otherwise I'm wasting my time.
