Just as a PSA, AEM (Davis' parent company) has terminated my consulting agreement with them effective the end of the September. It has been a long ride (I have been with the Earth Networks side since I was a teenager!), and I have many happy memories over the years, especially when I was involved in the WeatherBug side of operations.
For those of you who call or email me with Earth Networks or Davis questions or send me feedback, please be advised that I can no longer answer those. Any email cases I was working on with customers in the Davis email queue will now be handled by another technical support rep. I will keep my account active here on StormTrack and drop in from time to time. My Davis weather station will be going offline and donated to a local school, but I still have a Tempest and PurpleAir I can play with.
And for the "When it rains, it pours", for those of you who know me from my work at Accordance Bible Software, I am also being laid off there (I will be working for them over the next couple of weeks to wind down my current projects and ensure a smooth transition to the remaining staff members). So I'll officially be on the job hunt.
