That's fascinating. I know next to nothing about sound and what sort of microphones it takes to detect subsonic sounds such as these, but I'm curious how feasible it would be to outfit some research vehicles with similar equipment to get even more ground data to put toward this, in addition to what appears to be a stationary rig in the photo. Regardless, I'm very interested in seeing where this technology leads.
