Successful prosecution of these anti-texting laws essentially rests on you, as the driver, either admitting guilt verbally or handing over your phone so that the officer can see you were sending a text message at a given time.
So how does the law apply to LEO's? I mean they have computer info and keyboards in the cars -so they must input info at times while driving.
Same with Truckers-they have onboard comms and Must reply via keyboard inputs to their employers
In Michigan you can't read or send a message on a communications device while your vehicle is in motion. From what I understand this is considered computers, phones, and radios. It however does not include GPS and the middle finger
