Heather Moser
EF0
Hello everyone! I've been watching Stormtrack for about a year or so as a "guest" and figured it was probably time for me to get more involved in the forum discussions.
My name is Heather Moser, and I'm currently working on my M.S. in Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma. I graduated from Iowa State University (home of the Cyclones!) in 2006 with a B.S. in Meteorology and a minor in Geology. I lived in Pratt, Kansas before that, but since my family moved around quite a bit I tend to consider the whole western/southcentral region of Kansas home.
I started chasing in 2004 while I was at ISU, and my first successful chase (in terms of seeing a tornado) was on November 12, 2005 just southwest of Ames. I've gained a lot of experience since then and am continually improving. Up to this point I've only chased with friends from school and my boyfriend (also a meteorologist from ISU), so I'm hoping I'll get the chance to get to know more of the storm chasing community here at Stormtrack.
