Greetings! Just in case your not aware of this yet, I came across this new experimental RUC model that you may find useful, especially with all the interesting weather coming up this next week. It has lots of different parameters you can choose from.

This may be my favorite new model source, except for the fact it seems to be on drugs tonight. It has the DL barely inside the NM state line at 00Z tomorrow night, among other things. Maybe there are a few bugs to work out of this experimental model. Thanks, Rocky!
 
There's nothing new there as it started in 2003 - this is just the RUC where they put in changes to see what works and what doesn't. As Bob noticed, you'd probably be safer using one of the ones like the WRFRUC or the RUC that uses TAMDAR (aircraft sounding) data.
