Wow--how much of that outboard gear in those two racks is internally controlled by computers now? That was a lot of electronics to haul around.

I remember visiting when we could still just walk in.

Thanks for sharing that video, Tim. It was definitely well before my time, but it seems like those were the good 'ol days. Was that a simple, enjoyable era of chasing when everything was new and exciting, or were they days of more frequent busts and more banging on the side of machines trying to get them to work?

Funny you mention that... that was 1988, the midst of the big storm drought. I think the main danger of the job was choking on dust and cobwebs while cleaning the interior of those vans.
