MK Controls Lightning Bug

I have been pondering purchasing the MK lightning bug trigger for my DSLR. Has anyone tried one or heard any feedback? Most photos online I have seen using this device show good lightning itself, however the storm structure has little definition. I do shoot lightning myself without it, but it is at night using the bulb setting. I was wondering if Bug users just do not know how to shoot in manual mode? I think multiple strike shots would be impossible with the Bug.

I'm sure you can with the right exposure. Probably have to use a ND filter and drag the shutter a bit to get it right.
