Does anyone have any information on how many tornados were confirmed in Kansas around the Bison area on May 25th, aside from the landspout tornado? I'm interested in knowing of any other tornados from that storm in particular. I know it produced a lot of funnels before the Bison tornado. Any pics would be helpful as I was going through my video of that day and was curious if any of the funnels we saw turned out to be tornados or not.

Before the landspout, I filmed a brief tornado SSW of La Crosse. The tornado was associated with a different storm than the one that produced the landspout, the storm that produced the first tornado was choked off by the one that eventually produced the landspout. If I recall right, w/o looking back at the video the tornado was probably 6 miles SSW of La Crosse it was brief and never able to fully condense, in fact it never condensed past half way down, though for about 30 seconds there was a distinctive circulation on the ground. The storm continued NNE before eventually crossing the N-S hwy just South of La Crosse, and then it produced another funnel over the E side of La Crosse that never touched down, then the storm to the South took over and did the landspout thing.

I didn't put a lot on this day, but I put a couple pics up...

Skip Talbot and I reported the 1st tornado SW of Bison on the first of five supercells we intercepted that day. The structure on that storm was stunning. I know that Scott Currens reported a brief spinup under a well defined funnel near La Crosse and I've always thought it was the funnel on the right side of the road in my video driving north into La Crosse but I guess now it was earlier. Cool timelapse Dustin.

I have some video of a small tornado(gustnado?) that might have some connection with the cloud above..that formed a short time after the Bison landspout tornado in the supercell that formed just behind the Bison storm. It was only a couple of hundred yards away in a field and went on to take out a tree. It was spinning like a buzz saw for a little while.

I don't have the video handy but here's a few pic's of the storm. The tornado formed in the field(dark photo) in the foreground shortly after I took the pic. Quite a few other chasers were there to witness it.

The last photo is of the Bison storm(30 minutes after the landspout?) as it was racing away...pretty impressive wall cloud but didn't see anything on the ground. Rather than continue to follow it..I simply waited for the next storm to arrive. (The other 3 photos.)
