I stumbled across this. Pretty cool, but what about all those people watching it? I wonder if they were in any danger?

Thank you, Saul for submitting that awesome link! Not only does the twister look spectacular, it was cool to see all the people gathered to partake in the splendor.
And it looks so close.. right across the bay!

The anti-cyclonic rotation evident in the updraft base of the parent thunderstorm is cool, too. It looks like a mesocyclonic vortex, as opposed to the typical tropical pulse-type or linear storm mode waterspout. Those folks might have been in quite a bit of danger.
