Making your own anemometer.

I thought this might be of interest for some. Below are two links that show you how to make your own anemometer. The second is a little more feasible though. I think I may try the second when time permits just for the fun of it.

Hey, that second one looks familiar! I bought a vortex from Inspeed: http://www.inspeed.com a year ago. I always wondered what went into making that anemometer, and now I know. I wouldn't build my own though because I would probably fudge it up and Inspeed's model isn't much more anyway.
