I was on the zoomed in overlay screen. Maybe that has a different update frequency than the big main page map? Regardless, I think 5 minute lag is quite good for a free lightning product.

Check that you have at least Strikes enabled in the live data menu in the left side of the page. Over there you should be getting feedback about delays too. Of course, it could be that the browser does not support live data ability.

FYI, they've just released mobile apps on iOS and Android. I have it running on my tablet and it seems to work fine.

Anyone find a US-based source for the detector? I'd love to add on to their network...

I looked into it a couple months ago and I'd also like to find a detector that doesn't require so much assembly. I can do that kind of electronic work but I just don't have the time....
