All one needs is an all-manual still camera, non-fancy variety. It's all straight photo technique done with manual settings and transparency film (at least that's the way I do it). And to increase my chances - mile after mile of endless chasing, weird weather, really long nights, critters, willingness to drive to anywhere...increases the odds. But you already know all that...being one of the most die-hard chasers anywhere!
