KOKOMO, Ind. -- An exhibit marking the 40th anniversary of the 1965 Palm Sunday tornadoes is scheduled to open Friday at the Sieberling Museum.
Eleven tornadoes struck 20 Indiana counties, killing 137 people on April 11, 1965.
The exhibit traces the tornadoes' path through photographs and stories of survivors.
As visitors enter the exhibit, they will hear an audio recording of one tornado as it hit Alto Methodist Church in Kokomo and be asked to pinpoint on a map where they were the night of the storms.
