KFSD Radar Down

Hope this story can go here...

Sioux Falls radar just went down around 20 min ago! This is not good news as they do not know what the problem is, and the emergency technicians have been notified.

Storms are currently moving into the KFSD area right now, and are going to have the potential to become severe. Looks like surrounding offices are going to have to help big time for FSD until this is fixed.

It is back

We had a decent storm push through the southern Twin Cities metro( I work in Bursville). Of course, I was forecasting it and could only watch it on Radar....man does work suck!!

Yes

DTN/Meteorlogix....same company. DTN is based out of Omaha. Meteorlogix is here in Burnsville, we also have a small operation in Lexington MA, but have since moved most of that operation here to Burnsville. We have about 35 mets at this office.
