Yep I noticed the links didn't work.
It shows he's still a member here but hasn't visited since 2020.
I didn't know there was a drop-down list..have never seen that. I believe you can just type it in & the board will recognize: @Ryan McGinnis
 
I bet those link shorteners that got real big in the 2010s have a lapse time...maybe 10 years? They were probably designed for short-fuse attention-getting links and never meant to represent anything permanent. I bet we lose a lot more of these before 2030.
 
I was never a fan of those link shorteners .. for 2 main reasons:
1. Always saw them as a short-term thing (basically like you say "designed for short-fuse attention-getting links") that could go away at any time
2. And (more importantly) just one more thing to spy/track on you as you click links.
