Does anyone know which jet stream causes the most severe weather? Polar or sub tropical? What ive came up with is that during the spring/summer its the sub tropical jet because that jet is usually pretty warm but what has me messed up is that if that jet is warm than why is there lots of cold air aloft? Dose one of these cause more severe weather than the other?
