I get the redirect error myself and can replicate it at will, so if you need assistance troubleshooting, I would be very glad to help when I get some free time.
I would be glad to do a tcpdump / wireshark / httpwatch trace - whichever you prefer.

I've gotten the same, but then I realized if you do the "remember me" and after typing the URL, just clock on the "Stormtrack" name, it puts you back on the front page, signed in. Just a easy way to work around until it is fixed or new site is released.

I also have this happen. I've noticed it only happens when I try to login at http://www.stormtrack.org. My info is not ever remembered from there either. However, if I click the "forum" link to go to http://www.stormtrack.org/forum/index.php I have no issues and am remembered. Something to do with that root level page.
We identified the issue and determined to leave it be since we are sunsetting this site in a week. Sorry for any inconvenience.
