Unless you have information from a reliable source, please do not post damage, situation, or casualty reports. Reporting information from other boards or other second or third hand sources may or may not be accurate, and can cause unnecessary concern to people from those areas.

News media (don't say it...I know), ham radio reports, local, state, and FEMA websites, and other sources such as these can be deemed as reliable sources.

I've stickied a couple of the geographical threads to help remove some of the overlap. Users aren't required to use them and may start new threads, especially if it concerns important developments.
