Ideal radar location for viewing GR3 data?

Hello!

When viewing a storm in GR3, is there an "ideal" radar location for viewing a particular storm? I noticed that sometimes storms will appear differently depending on which radar I am using to view the storm. So I was just wondering if there is an ideal radar position relative to the storm?

Thanks!

And boy is the radar active right now. Hook echos on almost every storm down south.

But even when you choose the closest radar, there is still what i call an "orientation skew" where you can tell the image is slightly distorted. If there are 2 radars close by they will both show the same storm, but each one shows a slightly different storm. Which one would be more accurate? Or is one of those things where its impossible to tell

I'm not sure what you mean by "orientation skew." Both the close and the distant are completely accurate. The closer one has more vertical tilts and higher resolution.

The ideal situation is to use more then one. Each one will give you a different view of the cell/line.
Keeping in mind the distance from the cell/line each radar site is and how it affects the radar.
