Historical Temperature Data

Is there a website where I can look up historical temperature data? I want look up the daily high temps for given location for given date range. The only thing I could find with a google search were sites that charged a fee.

Search around NCDC. Their sight is not the most organized... but after some effort I usually find what I need.
