Help. Quick release camera mount question.

I am telling Santa I want a Film Tools Gripper 115 for Christmas. Plan to mount my camcorder to it. Problem is, I want to be able to grab the camcorder and use it, then quickly "snap" it back onto the mount and continue on.

I have 2 tripods, and they both have quick release mounting plates that I screw into the bottom of the camera and it stays with the camera. Then, when I want to pop the camera onto the mount, it just "clicks" onto the tripod with a little lever. When I want to remove the camcorder, I flip the lever and its off.

I want to put something like that onto the film tools 115. Thanks in advance for info.
