Hail Storm Going On Right Now :D

Hey guys

I'm curently getting a very nice, but short lived Hail Strom, that's just passing right now, it's currently moving NE, at about 35 mph, the hails size is pretty small, marble sized at best, but has been pretty intense

There has been just 1 lightning bolt, that I'm aware of, but I will certainly be keeping my eyes and ears open for any more

I've got the camera ready, and so, if I get any lightning images, then I'll upload them

I know that there will be more storms like this passing by, due to the weather conditions that we got today, in fact, it's actually just changed to falling snow, since the hail has stopped , and so, I'm hopeful to get something on camera, maybe some nice small mammatus if I'm lucky , but I'll be sure to get a few images for you guys at least

Let us know when the images are up . Pretty wild no lightning and then the hail would change to snow . Perhaps it was snow grains? Then again I guess maybe not if they are up to marbles

I've spent the past hour and a half, trying to find spare batteries for me new digital camera, and have finally found them, but it's now turning to dusk here, and I have tried getting a few images of the hail, that is still laying in the front garden

There is what appears to be another storm moving in, but the odd thing is, it's moving in from the N, and appears to be moving SSE, and so, I'm going to be watching this one like a hawk and hopefuly, I'll be able to cat something worth while on camera

I'm determined though to get some good pictures because there is something that has intrigued me about that first storm earlier

When I looked at the hail, after it had first fallen, there were some some hail, that looked to be a bit too light in weight to be hail, whilst at the same time, there was other smaller, but more denser hail laying mixed in with it, which I find very interesting

It's looking like I could be getting ready for round 2, or at least I hope so

P.S. Can someone please explain to me why it is, that when you want a camera to work at the right time, that something has to go wrong? like batterries doing their pancake impressions, (Being flat). lol
