i happened to be looking at videos and stumbled on this timelapse of a gravity wave...when i think of a gravity wave, i think of undular bores that make waves like this one...

but this ones a little different then the picture i have here...take a look at the video...

Very interesting - looks not unlike the morning glory cloud of NE Australia, although that's more of a roll cloud, but still a gravity wave nonetheless.

That wave time-lapse is so "mechanical"!

Amazing to watch the gravity wave undulate like that, like being a surfer underwater!
