GPS Splitter Software?

Hey Everyone,

I was just wondering what splitter software everyone uses and would it work with both GRLevelX and Delorme?

Here is my vote for GpsGate. I have used GRLevel 3, Spotter Network, Street Atlas and WxWorx all at the same time and it comes in very handy. I can't even begin to tell you how useful it is to see your GPS position in relation to radar, esp. if you chase at night.

Is it as easy as just installing the software? I need a new GPS for my XM, but it would be awesome if I could just get my GPS I use with Delorme to work on XM too. I am terrible with computers though so if it takes much more than just installing software then I can't pull it off.

I used GPSgate for the first part of the year (2007) and then for some reason it would not hold the com ports. I had to reboot the computer and it would hold for awhile but would loose the com ports agian. So I switched over to this one http://curioustech.home.insightbb.com/xport.html and so far not had a problem with it. Also it is free.
Yep, know what you're talking about. Sometimes it holds the com ports, sometimes not. My solution was rather mindless, but it works. I color coded all my USB ports and connecting cables. That is, every time I plug in the GPS, the cellular modem tether and the WX-Worx cable it's always in the same location. Now I don't have that problem anymore. I'm using the one Dick McGowan suggests and it's fine. I run it through Delorme mapping, WX-Works and other radar programs as needed. If I do have problems I'll take your suggestion and look at that software, thanks.

I didn't know it won't work with a 64 bit software.....hummmm.
