GoM: TD FIVE

Calling the hurricane season now is like writting of the tornadoseason due to alack luster April and March. Think back on the tornado season. Hammon happend and everyone talkedabou it being a great season then until April 22nd the talk changed to the season being a dud. If we make it to September 5th and all is still quiet then I'll be worried.

Thanks for posting that about Hurricane Alicia Rich; never heard of that storm (just a little before my time :)) Things can change very quickly and in an unpredictable fashion. I would'nt let my guard down on it just yet....

Jsut when you thought this strom was dead for good it looks like it may come back. It never looked this good even when it was a tropical depression and I bet once it goes into the gulf it will explode even more.

This area is really encountering alot of shear and with the exposed weak SFC circulation slowly pushing back towards the LA coastline. IMO this will be no more than the low it is now and a heavy rain producer as it landfalls once again late tomorrow. Had it not encountered the shear it may have had a chance. At the very least it will maybe make it to TD strength prior to landfall.

Good day all,

It's too close to land, the center's exposed, and the living daylights have been sheared out of it.

Let's keep "Danielle" a hot chick to really name a good storm for!
