Okay, okay, I admit it--I'm about to shamelessly plug my latest blog post. But it's one that I think will benefit newcomers to chasing by answering a few questions up front. I've tried to do so in a logical, progressive fashion that starts with the bare essentials of what it takes to get out and chase storms, then builds from there. The point is to provide a quick, solid overview that will neither overwhelm a newbie by complicating the essentials, yet that also doesn't oversimplify the important stuff a chaser will deal with along his or her developmental curve.

I don't claim to have covered all the bases, and I invite experienced chasers here to comment on the blog with your own insights and advice.

All that being said, check out What Do You Need to Chase Storms?

Good stuff: informative, clear explanations, helpful suggestions, useful links for further study, and all with that sly Bob Hartig Copy Fox good humor! Plus, if you haven't checked out Bob's site, it's a great excuse to do so.
