Are you using Chrome by chance? That software was horrible with that issue for me (among other things). Do you shut down and restart your PC a lot (between usages) or let it run for days on end?

I use Chrome and leave it running between reboots (which can be days or weeks) and have no problems with my login being retained. I also make HEAVY use of tabs.

I use Chrome as well and have no problems with cookies. Funny the one thing that keeps me using Chrome over Firefox is the process isolation for tabs that Jason mentioned. I need a lot of tabs open and Firefox just can't handle it (memory leaks). I hear Firefox is working on process isolation for tabs in a future release though.

I lied, my issue still stands.

Using Firefox, clean cache, clean everything, but whenever I visit the forum it displays me as logged out with little padlock icons over each sub-forums and the bar and grill missing. However, if I try and access each sub-forum I am capable and have fully-logged in capabilities. It's not prohibiting me from doing anything, but is kind of annoying. I have no idea what the issue is. I'm logged in, but it won't display me as logged in. This also happens when I visit the forum from my droid.

I'm wondering if some of the people getting logged out are having this issue, and are actually logged in but are falling victim to the logged out display being shown. This started happening immediately when the upgrade occurred (which barring this, I am a fan of).

I'm using Chrome on a Macbook Pro and have only had to sign in once when the new site went live. It's remembered me since with no problems. I didn't have to clear my cache or cookies.

I'm using Firefox 3.6.13 on my Macbook Pro as well with no problems. That is as long as the remember me box is checked.
