The end of April and beginning of May brought all kinds of wild weather to the Pagosa Springs, CO area and the nearby San Juans, as two closed lows drifted across the Southwest. The weather included a thunderstorm with hail, graupel, and snow, up to 20 inches of snow in the mountains, dime-sized hail with the sun shining, and spectacular thundersnow storms in the South San Juan Wilderness.
