I thought I'd let you all know that I received permission today from Weatherwise magazine to place Forecast Center articles online.

http://www.weathergraphics.com/edu/forecastcenter/

So if you want to sharpen your analysis skills, there's a mountain of Forecast Center installments going back to 2001 in full resolution. There is a permanent embargo on all articles newer than 12 months old, so the first issue of 2010 is as far back as I can post right now. However this should be plenty enough to get familiar with all kinds of weather systems!

Man, I feel like I've struck gold! These articles are a great learning tool for folks like me who have a basic understanding of what's going on but needing practice to gain the experience and make some things become 'second nature'. Be sure to tell the folks at Weatherwise we appreciate this.

Yes, this is a good refresher course. I look for this type of material to study this time of year. Spring is around the corner, so we all need to get the forecasting cob webs under control. At least I do anyway!

Absolutely! It is getting to be that time of year where the re-assembly of equipment needs to be taking place. A little under 3 months away from show time. If Mother Nature won't give me live learning presentations, these are as good as they get!
