Flooded Roads

I'm very new to chasing. While out on a practice chase yesterday in rural Arkansas, I encountered a flooded road and had to implement my Plan B.

I reported it to my local NWS office, but there was already a Flash Flood Warning, so I don't know if the additional information did any good for anybody.

it was a very low traffic road and the locals that use it probably already know it's prone to flooding, but other chasers using the road wouldn't know that.

Is there a resource that is used to communicate to other chasers when we encounter these types of hazards? I was in no danger yesterday, but I can see how it could have been a problem if I was pinned between a flooded escape route and a deadly storm.

As a good rule of thumb, I would always report anything despite already being in a warning. Often, flash flood warnings are put out before anything even happens and if no reports of flooding make it to the office,

Reports are always, always welcomed by NWS offices regardless of whether a warning is out or not. Even if your report was not directly used in a subsequent flash flood statement for the warning, it was most definitely used to validate that the warning in that area was valid.
