Flash flood fatalities in Utah

Surprised there has not been a post about this. Very tragic. It appears that the people in Hildale, or at least some of them, did the right thing and stopped when water was running over the road, but then were overtaken and washed into the river by another flood/debris flow that came down a canyon behind them, trapping them between the flooded river and the new flash flood.
