FIXED: Resolution problem in GRLevel3v3

Hoping someone can enlighten me.
The LHS of the screen is the original GR3v2 and the RHS is the new GR3v3. I can't get the smoothing/resolution of v3 to match v2. All the settings are the same. What am I missing?
NB: yes I've put my own colour table in v3, but it's still the same problem occurring with the default table too.

It doesn't look like the "Smoothing" button is activated on the v3 radar.
