So out of my boredom I decided to write about the recent event in a semi story fashion. Im no great writer, but I thought I would do something different.

Basically last night I sat on my front porch for several hours and felt the 2 seasons as the powerful cold front came by. The night included power flashes, branches falling, a few beers and several different precip types within an hour.

You can read the whole "story" complete with pics n video on my blog: http://aerostorm9.blogspot.com/2008/12/it-was-sunday-night-december-14th-2008.html

If your bored that is...but while Im on the subject I wanted to know if anyone else has done such a thing. Most of the stories people have about winter storms are bad ones, but are there any good, or at least "neat" ones? We talk about our personal experiences with severe thunderstorms all the time, so why not the winter ones.

That was a pretty cool write up man. I saw the cold front pass through here too and was amazed at how quickly the springlike airmass was brushed away by the arctic air. We went from a nice springtime day to an all out icestorm in less than 3 hours. Weather never ceases to amaze me!
